US Coloines

            All though most of the settlers came from English origin the social, political, economical, and geographic differences caused the three colonial regions to evolve completely different. In the Middle Colonies because of all the forest they were able to develop lumbering and shipbuilding industries. The fertile soil abounded growing and exporting grain and other food stuff. They had more industries than the south but they had the great open acreage that the south possessed, nor did they have the many industries that the New England contained. Hence the Middle Colonies were in many was midway between the New England and Southern Colonies. The New England colonies consist of industry economy and they also did a lot a fur trading and fishing. The Middle Colonies were similar with the New England Colonies in many more ways then they were with the South.
             The Northern Colonies political the majority of the laws were based on what the Bible said they should be. Also the most of leaders in the communities were head of the church. At the same time in the Middle Colonies the Quakers had the similar political aspects as the New England Colonies. Also in the New England Colonies the land was mountains and mostly forest. This caused them to build mostly industries like the Middle Colonies they had many lumbering and shipbuilding industries, in addition to that they had rum distilleries and iron work. Unlike the Middle Colonies they could do very little farming. The Middle Colonies they grew mostly grain and other food stuff and they also grew some tobacco in the southern area. This caused them both to be a very social economy because of the industries they lived in urban communities so they interacted with each other much more. Although the Middle Colonies weren't as urbanized as the New England Colonies because they did have some plantations.
             These many differences caused the New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies to evolve into entirely different economies.
