             Mexican immigration has been a problem in the United States since 1850 and still is to this date. Mexican immigrants, along with Mexican American descendants, have created a unique story of U.S. immigration. Millions of people in the U.S. today identify themselves as Mexican immigrants or Mexican Americans. Mexican immigrants now make up a large portion of the United States" population and they have become one of the most influential social and cultural groups in this country. Mexican culture will bring life to the United States with its language, politics, food, and living.
             Mexicans come to America to work in the fields or on construction, especially on railway working. Mexican workers in the United States established work at this time in commercial agriculture, the mining industry, light industry and the railroads. The working conditions were poor. During the year of 1924, the United States border patrol was created. It was something that would always be significant to the lives of Mexicans.
             An example of a Mexican immigrant is Eutimio, an undocumented Mexican who slipped into California across the southern border two years ago. Eutimio worked as a waiter. He would not give his last name and usually earned around four dollars an hour. He stopped earning enough money to pay the rent, much less to send money to his family. Like other undocumented Mexicans, he returned to Mexico.

             There are many immigrants who arrived in the United States and expected it to be an easy place to live. However, it is not easy for Mexican immigrants to get their lives started here in the United States. They often have to go through a lot of things in order to get a good job. Even then, the jobs aren't always successful and many Mexicans are forced to return to Mexico. .
