The way in which God decides for each man to live or die is seemingly strange. Some die when they deserve to live, and some live when they have little right. Why is this?, you may ask. If you did, I would answer this; God is not in control of all life. Through men on this earth, the Dark Lord himself advocates the death of some. Banquo is one of these men, as is his son Fleance. Surely, the work of Satan must not continue to be practised? It would be unjust, to say the least, to let this slaughter commence.
My good sir, I remember your wife well. She was a kind spirit, unable to harm another, always putting you and your children before herself. Such a wonderful woman God would want to keep on this earth, surely? She died not because of God, but because of Banquo. It was he who administered the poison, and it was at his residence the doctor was forced to dwell when he could have returned your wife to health.
And you, although I was only honoured the privilege of meeting your father once, it was clear to me that he was a wonderful man. He was one of those who could single-handedly rekindle my faith in the human race. Another who God would want to live. So why did he die? Because of Banquo. Yes, it was Banquo who arranged the murder of your father ten years ago today.
And these are not the only lives he has ended. He has slaughtered thousands of men, women and children, just like King Harold all those centuries ago. Surely it would be a crime to let him live and murder many more in such a way? Think of all the innocent people out there, killed simply for leading godly lives. You could save these people, and earn yourselves high places in the kingdom of God. Banquo is a murderer, a liar and a traitor, a man truly worthy of hell. He has plotted against many great people. Who do you think it was who bribed the two guards to kill the late King Duncan? I fear it may be my life next. Our country has suffered enough loss, we must not let another of our rulers die.
