Arictles to constitution

Great things do not come along right away. They need time and adjustment to become closer to perfection, somewhat like trial and error. The mistakes made can be corrected and learned from to determine what to do in the future. Being able to predict the needs of the future by looking at past events is the best way to make things run well. The creation of what would be cemented into the foundation of America did not start off right away as the Constitution, but rather it was more of a rough draft called the Articles of Confederation. This had lasted for six years, but could not possibly withstand the change of time. The Articles of Confederation, like all things, had to come to an end. This change was inevitable and needed to be taken care of as soon as possible in order to keep up with the government that was necessary to obtain amongst the people of this rapidly changing nation.
The Articles of Confederation were written during the time of the American Revolution. The laws needed to best fit what was occurring at that moment, and it was not intended to consider the distant future. Laws were created for what was necessary and thought to be most logical, but later down the road a different set up would be needed. This type of government may have been effective as a temporary form of organization, but soon it came to a point where it needed to be improved. .
The document that would replace the Articles of Confederation was the Constitution. At the time of the creation of the Articles, it was fine, but it would no longer suit the needs of the people. There were limitations that the Articles had that made tasks more complicated because of the vagueness and the way in which these rules were set up. Congress had many problems due to the Articles of Confederation. They had no power to enact tariff taxes, nor did they have the ability to enforce laws; they also had no ability to regulate any sort of trade.
