Understanding darwin and god

The fight between religion and evolution has been strong sense Darwin first introduced his idea to the world. The thought of a God not being the creator of all life was blasphemy in the eyes of society and especially in the church. Those who believed Darwin's ideas were sometimes shunned from society. However, the theory of evolution, only gets stronger with time, as more and more people come to realize this, some people want to believe that both could be true, to try and make evolution and creationism compatible. If we want to believe that, if it is possible, some aspects of each side must be altered. First we must realize that evolution is a theory not a fact. You can interpret the Bible to allow for both creationism and evolution. The way we live our lives socially may also need to be changed. If we take the general concepts from each belief, we can incorporate one with the other, hopefully finding an equal medium.
It was believed, in England before 1859 when Darwin first introduced his book The Origin of Species, that all species, even humans, had been created by the God of the Judeo-Christian tradition.1 The evolution that Darwin preaches' of in his book is only a theory, just like creation is a theory, both must be accepted as equal theories because neither can be proved. If we are truly a country that believes in freedom of religion, we must also act so in social situations, accepting everyone's point of view. No matter how much physical evidence we find for evolution, religion can explain it with "God did it-. God is the answer to a very simple solution to supernatural phenomenon that no one at the time can explain. The Bible was written to be a tool to explain the unexplainable. When the creationists use the defense "God did it-, evolutionists can give no reply .
