Comparing the Different Attitudes towards Aborigines

            Aborigines have been treated badly throughout the centuries by Europeans. It started with just plain insults but then it went further like capturing their land and killing them. Of course this meant aborigines retaliation but the Europeans had guns and not even the slow loading muskets anymore it was breech loaders and double barreled carbines now while the aborigines had the old fashioned bow and arrow, spears small shields and boomerangs. It would have never started if the European had come in peace not conquest and not tried to steal their sacred land.
             The aborigines thought that the Europeans were the ghosts of the dead ancestors and that would prove why they were white, they also thought that the Europeans were very stupid because they could not speak their language. While others thought they were a easy way of trading items and welcomed them. And some thought the Europeans were only passing by so they welcomed them to live with them for a while. They had never thought that the Europeans had come in conquest.
             At first the Europeans thought they could buy the land off the aborigines but when they said they would not sell the land the Europeans or anybody else for that matter because it was their life. The Europeans started settling even on the aborigines" sacred land and that made the aborigines angry so the started attacking all the settlements and destroying them. The Europeans thought the aborigines were just pests and were happily killing them.
             But the aborigines were not like the Europeans who sticked together and attacked in bundles but were more of a guerrilla warriors who attacked in small numbers and usually only attacked their animals except when the Europeans went on their sacred land and killed their people. They usually attacked the animals because they hunted for food and the Europeans were killing all the animals. They also attacked the Europeans because they had figured out that the Europeans had come to conquest them rather then friendly terms.
