            The thesis in a possision film is that the movie may focus on the female, but it is just a "cover" for the male in crisis story. In the movie Stir of Echos it follows the thesis in a similar way, almost exactly. The movie follws the spirts of departed genre and the teleknic powers genre. You can ell that it follows the spirts of departed genre because at many moments in the movie the girl who died comes back in the memories of actor Kevin Bacon, and also she was a sprit that was able to talk to the kid. The movie is a telekinetic genre because Kevin Bacon can see and sense thing that are not there, example would be the taken of his son he seen and felt somthing wrong was going on. .
             The kid in the movie is young and innocent he has the 6th sense, he can see and talk to the sprits. He is not possed he is really open mined. It shows in the beganing that he is open minded because when he is takin a bath it is shown that he is interacting with a dead person. .
             The difference in the movie is that usally the mother is more open minded than the father, but its seems thatt the mother is scared of what is happening and does not believe what is going on. In the movie the mother and father are fighting because the father believes that his son was intracting with the dead girl and the mother does not believe it at all nd is scared that he might be right.
             There is a substanital amount of black magic in the movie. First the is the sister of the mother she brings out the hypnotic spell that put the father under a trance and starts the whole telekentic power that the father h now. Another source of black magic was the black cop who was at the cemetary. He was like the child but more advanced at his stage. He gave some to the mother infomation on how to get rid of the spirits in the house at his stage the mom started to become a lil more open minded.
             In the beganing the father is closed off emotionally and mentally until the point when he is hypnotise he stars to see thing and believe what is going on is true.
