Wars have been raging on from the beginning of recorded history. Humans have been at war with each other for many reasons, but all these reasons come in to three basic categories, which are greed and power, religion and culture, and political reasons. .
It is humanities nature to desire power and wealth. Countries go to war because its citizens crave for more wealth or for more power. It is plain as the nose on your face; humanity strives for success and prosperity. Every one strives for more status, it doesn't not matter who they are, or what they do. This basic greed causes wars between countries, since countries are greedy and want to have more than what they posses. Wars are often promoted from considerations of interest, as well as from passion. The love of gain adds its influence to our other motives to support them; and without other motives, we know that this love is sufficient to give great obliquity to the moral judgment, and to tempt us to many crimes. During a war of ten years there will always be many whose income depends on its continuance. The post war effect is much worse, families would not have all the men due to the fact that they were killed fighting the war. Buildings and shelters would have to be rebuilt. The war torn regions would be destroyed of their riches and beauty for hundreds and in some cases thousands of years. .
The fact that culture and religion brings countries to war has been proven through history countless times. Civil wars are currently raging on around the world due to religious and cultural differences. Countries are being split apart by the difference between culture, and religion within the citizens of the country. It is safe to say that religion does not encourage any acts of war, but it is the followers that commit these acts. For instance the religion Islam does not support or encourage the act of terror, but individuals such as Osoma Bin Laden portray the religion as a means of justification for terror acts.
