            Developmental Variations Amongst the Colonies.
             Geographical locations have made a foundation for substantial disparity and relationships amongst the colonies of North America regarding aspects of the societies. Geographical factors such as climate and land surfaces have caused the northern, middle and southern colonies to develop differently despite being in the same continent. There are definite social, political and economic differences and similarities between the numerous colonies of North America.
             Social aspects in the colonial life were varied mainly by one dilemma. The southern colonies strongly believed in slavery but the north opposed it just as much. The stand the middle colonies took on the colossal belief of slavery was mixed. The middle colonies were split. The south felt as though it was a necessity to own slaves to do the labor on the plantations while the north felt that it was clearly inhumane to force people to be slaves. Slavery has been a major issue throughout the history of America. The south tried to break free from the union in the civil war, but the souths attempt was futile. Even in today's world slavery is somewhat of an issue, there are still conservatives in the south of the U.S. who believe in slavery, but that's just a small minority who believe it. The differences in social patterns amongst the colonies are basically focused on the immense issue of slavery.
             The separation of location of the many colonies in North America had also led to political differences, however there are still some similarities, between the north, middle and south. Each of the colonies followed a two-house legislation. The .
