Before I came to college, their were so many different thoughts running through my head. Some thoughts about college were good and some were bad. It seemed like all the bad thoughts were really just me getting nervous about going to college. Before getting to college the good thoughts seemed to overtake all the bad thoughts.
It was about one month before school started. I had already moved into my apartment and was staying by myself. I was so bored, just sitting around my apartment with nothing to do. I thought that I wasn't going to have a great experience with college, but I waited for school to start to see if anything would change.
The first day of school was hectic. It seemed as though I was the only one who had trouble finding their classes. I looked like a chicken with my head cut off that day trying to find my classes. I expected the first day of college to be hectic, but it seemed the only real problem I had was finding my classes. The first day of college felt like the first day of high school in a way, but trying to find your classes in a much bigger area.
The bad thoughts I had of college were, being far away from my parents and not knowing who to turn to for help, having to make sure I go to my classes and turning my homework in on time. Those bad thoughts are thoughts that every student should have before coming to college. These thoughts are not really bad thoughts, but nervous feelings about college.
The good thoughts I had about college were, partying, staying up late, getting a good education and other things that we just won't talk about. I think that everyone has these good thoughts before coming to college. Even though I had all these great thoughts of partying and staying up late, I realize that there is always going to be a time to party. But when the work needs to get done you need to be responsible enough to get that work done instead of going out to party.

Never would I have thought doing so many activities would be an issue. My parents thought it would be great for me to get a job, even I thought it would be great considering I did need money to pay for school and certain bills. But now, after a few months of working as a pharmacy technician I realize that it would be harder than I thought. ... What will I need to do to be so exhausted all the time? ... What Did I learn? ... "Who Am I - What Am I" was very interesting in that scientists don't know the exact answer, so it was fun for me to think of different ways I thought the mind and body interact and how they are two extremely different things. The one question that blew me away when I actually thought deeply of my answer was, "Is There a God." ... I have thought about this question before, but not in regards of making me happy. ... I also found supporting answers to what I believe such as, why I believe in God and why do I do the right thing most of the time. ...
