The Truth About Cats and Dogs

            Are you a cat lover or a dog lover? Cats and dogs are both very adorable when they are little. When they grow up and get bigger however they are very different animals. Dogs are friendly, loyal, protective animals. They want to be your friend and will do anything to make you happy. Cats are more independent and only care if they are happy.
             Dogs can be trained very easily. They learn to do their bathroom business outside. They can learn all sorts of tricks such as sit, stay, roll over to play dead or even to fetch your slippers. They will learn these tricks just to make their master happy. They can also be trained to help police officers and lead the blind. Have you ever seen a drug sniffing cat or one crossing someone across a busy intersection?.
             Have you ever seen a cat roll over or sit pretty? Cats can be trained, but it is very difficult. They will not do tricks to make their master happy, but only for treats if your lucky. They will also get on your countertops and tables knowing you don't want them up there. They don't go outside to do their bathroom business either; they use a litter box. A litter box can smell up a room very fast and it's not fun cleaning them out. .
             There are many different breeds of dogs. You can research different breeds to find one that suits your lifestyle. There are breeds that are very energetic, some that like to walk, and others that are more laid back. There are even dogs that are bred specifically to hunt or herd.
             There are different breeds of cats also but aside from their looks a cat is pretty much a cat.
             Dogs are generally friendly and people oriented. They want to immediately greet anyone who comes through the front door. Have you ever been to someone's house and was surprised to find out later that they had a cat? That's because it was hiding behind the couch waiting for you to leave before it came out.
             You don't have to get dogs claws surgically removed to stop them from scratching up your drapes.
