The First Sin

"God said, "Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them"(Bible Genesis 1:26). God created the man first. From the man he created a woman. She was to be the man's companion. These two people were known as Adam and Eve. God placed them in the Garden of Eden to live, and to populate the earth. This garden had everything they would ever need. It was full of plants, animals, and all kinds of food sources. It was a kind a paradise.
Before God created Eve, he said to Adam; "You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day you eat of it you shall die"(Bible Genesis 2:16). That was God's only command to Adam.
One day Eve was in the Garden by the tree that God forbade her from touching. There was a serpent on the ground that started talking to her. Eve did not know who or what Satan was, nor did she know that that was who was talking to her though the serpent. Eve said to the Serpent; "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden; but God said; "you shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, nor shall you touch it, or you shall die""(Bible Genesis 3:2). The serpent replied; "You will not die; for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil"(Bible Genesis 3:5). .
Eve took the fruit from the tree, and she persuaded her husband to eat it with her. When Eve ate the apple in the Garden of Eden she was split in what she should do. On one hand God told them to eat from any tree except the one in the middle.
