             As a student at Trevecca Nazarene University I wish to enroll in the education program your collage is noted for. I will pursue a degree in education with a minor in social sciences and achieve a teaching certificate in history not only to excel in my field of study. I intend after graduating to be persons of strong Christian character who are able to make ethical decisions based on biblical principles. This education will help display characteristics that include competence, responsibility, compassion, and the ability to integrate Christian faith and learning in practice. The University desires that each student develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
             My pride and great characters is what truly sets me apart. This is what will make me an excellent student as well. A great example of this is when we were assigned a project, to design a print lay out of a car that would appeal to students. Instead of just doing the minimum effort required for getting the grade. My team and I did not want to settle for par but went above and beyond. It should in our work and in our grade. These characteristics bleed through in to my all of the extra curricular activities I partake in as the DECA vice president or Key Club treasure, As well as in my faith and in my home life.
             These aspects of my life are what I hope to bring to your college. I will not only be a leader, but also achieve excellence in every field that I will participate in. The Four or more years that I will spend at your college will be every productive for not only but your college as well. This is why I propose attending your college next year and being proud to be a Trojan.
