Hitler, with his evil plot to eradicate the Jews in Germany, and Japan with their attack on the United States by bombing Pearl Harbor initiated the formation of the Grand Alliance. To sustain and strengthen their alliance, these great countries implemented three primary guidelines. .
Firstly, the United States consented with the allies to make Europe their priority in defeating Hitler although the U.S wanted revenge on Japan for their attack on Pearl Harbor. Secondly, post-war issues such as a peace settlement were eluded by the US and Britain to avoid conflicts within the alliance. Instead, they concentrated on their military necessities in preparation for the imminent war. Finally, the alliance instituted a policy of "unconditional surrender" by the Germany and Japan to thwart Hitler from separating the alliance. .
World War Two was won by the alliance of the United States, the Soviet Union and Britain as these countries had a greater reserve and supply of militaries, strong economies and national unity. The United States alone had a vast industry, enormous population, and of course, it's nationwide accord. Moreover, Britain's assembled financial system; it's collective union and also, the floating fortress that provided a frontline position for attacks to Germany, greatly contributed to the Alliance. Additionally, The Soviet Union with it's state unison and the development of it's military led by capable leaders also was a immense influence in winning the war against Germany and Japan. The alliance was also aided in this war by worldwide forces that were against the Nazis. .
To conclude the U.S, Britain and Soviet Union came together to fight the evil forces of both Germany and Japan that threatened world peace.
