            " When you see a person you cannot tell who they truly are deep inside. They may have the looks, brilliance, and power but they are not what they seem like. Oscar Wilde is another victim of his own conscience. His brutal experiences helps portray the "universal truth" in his novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray." In his novel a young, handsome boy named Dorian may seem like a perfect guy but he faces a life full of lies. His life is divided. From the outside he is a perfect gentlemen that everyone admires but from the inside he's a rotten tomato. Both Oscar Wilde and Dorian are two faced through various reason, they lived a double life, hid their true identity through masks, had a love affair and interacted with male companions. .
             Oscar Wilde had a belief that everyone lived a double life. The author, Oscar Wilde portrays his life through his novel. He believed that the society has been creating a mirror image of their own characters, like in the novel of The Picture of Dorian Gray. .

His whole life he never cared about his beauty until he met Henry. Who changes him from a purity man to a person who admired his own beauty and would do anything to get his eternal youth.
