The Cobsprcies Surrounding AIDS In Africa

THE CONSPIRACIES SURROUNDING AIDS IN AFRICA.
"78% of the 37 million people with AIDS live in Africa.
The human immunodeficiency virus, better known as (HIV) which causes AIDS, has brought about a global epidemic far more extensive than what was predicted a decade ago. In the continent of Africa the disease has spread at a frighteningly rapid pace. Africa by far the hardest hit by the epidemic is under attack by the disease. According to 2000 estimates by UNAIDS, a group made up from the World Bank, and World Health Organization, 37 million people in the world have Aids, 28.5 million of them in sub-Saharan Africa. Nearly 19 Million Africans have died from complications of the Aids Virus. There were 6.4 million new Aids infections in 1999, 4 million of them in Africa, 2.8 million dead of Aids in 1999, 85 percent of them African's, 13.2 Million children orphaned by Aids, 12.1 million of them Africans. It seems that disease is spreading uncontrollably through Africa due to a lack of education, and a strong distrust for the western world. Many Africans believe that Aids is another attempt for the West to depopulate Africa, some are calling it genocide. Theorists are telling African's that there is no such thing as HIV, or that HIV is a condition thrust upon them to depopulate the country. After years of apartheid, racism, and lies that does one believe? I want to take a closer look into the facts surrounding Africa and Aids as well as the theories and theorists that the world seems to be ignoring. I think that the truth lies between the two. .
The spread of HIV in Africa has been greatly enhanced by a number of conspiracy theories plaguing the continent. It has come to the point where it seems that the intimate denial of AIDS is increasing to a professional denial in much of the African community. Many African doctors and political officials question much of what we consider to be hard factual information here in the US.
