What Does It Mean To Be A Christian? From The View Of A Non Christian.

I decided to research and discuss what it means to be a true Christian. I will discuss my broad understanding of the logic behind their views. This will be my interpretation so far from what I have been told and what I have studied. I thought it might be interesting to look back and to see how much it changes as the course progresses. I will also discuss my view of the religion as a whole in comparison. A true Christian exercises their faith in Christ and when they do they believe that it makes Christ's Love shine even brighter making it possible to achieve more with Gods faith, hope, and love. .
A Christian is someone who believes in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and applies it to his or her life. Becoming a Christian costs a person nothing but devotion. According to what I have read, God is personal and cares about you. This is a factor I can really respect about this particular religion. No one is perfect and Christians are not "god-like" like Christ. All Christians are human and are born into this world are with human imperfections. .
Most other religions separate a person from God and his Love. You don't have to earn any 'merit' to join Gods family in Christianity. In other religions hurdles may be put in your way or rules that govern your religious duties. When you fail to meet your duties you can be punished, lowered in merit, or even sometimes killed. One argument is that some religions seem to portray God as only a punishing, non-loving God compared to Christianity. This seems how a lot of people who hate god might act. In other religions you have to do things to gain status for the life-there-after. God is the only one who has the right to place you anywhere and his message to us is that of Love. This can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on a person's opinion. The important thing is that no one can be turned down to join.
An important part of being a Christian is accepting Jesus into their lives.
