My thesis for my research paper is the black market and how it affects trade among consumers around the nation. Does pose a huge threat or is something to retreat to when we don't have enuff money for the retail price. Online Auctions are considered a legal black market, while people who sell some of the products could have stolen it and sold it for a cheaper price. Also, people buying products then selling them at their own cost to gain a profit over the manufacture. Another big product on the black market are Burned CD's made at home. Why pay $16.99 when you can pay 5.00 bucks for the latest CD. Most of these ways of selling products are illegal yet sold everyday to the average consumer. Not only does it affect the buyer but the economy of America. In my paper I will show the reader how the black market workers and how it ruins our economy, helps illegal vendors grow and shut down good honest people, and how the average consumer is easily being foolish by buying these products illegally. I write this paper for the people who buy products off the black market such as DVD's, CD's, games, electronics and other household and non-household items. I believe my paper will help these people realize the mistake and harm they are doing to our economy.
