The ethic I have chosen to stand by is the still developing ecocentric beliefs. Through this, I believe we have a moral responsibility to all individuals including all populations, species, ecosystems and communities, rather than a responsibility to a singular individual. .
According to this ethic I believe that we should also give consideration to non-living objects such as rivers, caves, mountains, streams and oceans. We should take into consideration the value of all things on earth. I believe we should use all these resources. However, only under the consideration of using them and the effects this will have on other plants, animals and earth. In other words, we should keep everything stable and balanced. We should not have an abundance of one resource and not enough of another. We should under no circumstances completely use up anything available to us. .
When it comes to species laws, we the people should do everything we can to help the survival of endangered species and protect their environments. We should also be sure to care for all other animals and prevent damage to their environments, so that they do not become endangered. Basically, we should restore already harmed environments and work to keep those that are not free from destruction. We should also slow down any effects of global warming. If we keep living as we are now we may eventually kill off ourselves, plants and all animals. We need to take into serious consideration what causes global warming and come up with methods to prevent this form occurring. .
Overall, I believe that we need to change and start caring about the cause and effects of our everyday lifestyles. We as humans need to learn to have respect for all plants, animals and environments. We need to learn to live together .Happily.
