Gloabalization

The world is traveling at a lot faster pace then it did thirty years ago. People now have the ability to communicate with each other from all over the world. Globalization has resulted in companies reaching all across the globe to try to find new places where their product hasn't been introduced. Although globalization has assisted in improving many countries economically, it has also ravaged countries" workforce and cultures. Globalization has been responsible for the difficulty that inferior nations face when entering the global market, the loss and assimilation of cultures, cheap labor usually in the form of sweatshops, and the declining interest in native foods. This just furthers the gap between the industrious and inexperienced countries ability to globalize.
When an inferior country tries to pierce the global market they have a lot more hardships to face. "They fear a trial-and-error encounter with globalization because they fear that everything will end up as an error and with their country overwhelmed, so they just bring down the veil over a whole country" (Freedman, 1999, p. 296). It can be discouraging to a country that just doesn't have the resources to enter the market. They can either shut themselves out from the rest of the world or they can attempt to globalize.
When a country decides to globalize, they first have to find a product that they can make a profit off and successfully export it to other countries. This can be extremely difficult for many countries because they don't have the resources or the capital to start off. There's also a huge risk that will have an influence on almost all its citizens because if they fail after having invested a lot of money into the venture, then the government will have less capital and resources for the people within their own country. Then there is also the risk of separating themselves even further from the global market.
