We as managers, had to formulate a strategy to stabilizing a very charged and poisonous atmosphere. We agreed that to successfully sustain development there must be adequate communication. It is easier to deal with a problem when the problem is clear and personnel are agreeable.

After reassuring the staff in our department that everything was going to be alright, we determined to conduct a research to find out more about the company through business journals, factual periodicals like Value Line Survey, Dun & Bradstreet, and the like. We maintained that continuous communication was essential and that we would have meeting where employees could address concerns. Primarily, our focus is on how viable this company is. Ask employees where there is a need for improvement and development. Address productivity and emphasize the importance of maintaining it. .
The first step is conducting this vigorous research with immediate effect. Management must provide advice to members, develop new campaigns, and to implement necessary communication policies. We need to get as much information from our company, business periodicals, and also call Light Co Inc. officials, and glean as much information as possible. Uppermost in our mind, peoples concerns need to be reassured. The next step is to reassure staff that everything is all right. They have to rebound from the shell shock they are in. Of course, we proceed to having effective communication. Use of group meetings, conference calls, telephone calls, brochures and leaflets would be utilized. Finally, there is need to lay down an organizational structure.
