The human innate behavior, up to this very day, has not been quite understood mainly due to its intricate aspects. The human behavior is known as being unpredictable depending upon an individuals surroundings. This ties into humanities true hypocritical nature towards the society they live in. According to Thomas Hobbes" Leviathon, all individuals are in complete competition towards each other. If we were to analyze the natural causes of quarels, fights, feuds and so on, we can conclude that Hobbes is right to stipulate that people live in an unavoidable state of perpetual war where morality is not present and that every individual lives in continuous fear. .
In such condition, there is no place for industry, because the fruit thereof is uncertain; and consequently no culture of the earth, no navigation, nor use of the commodities that may be imported by sea; no commodious building, no instruments of moving and removing such things as require much force; no knowledge of the face of the earth, no account of time, no arts, no letters, no society; and which is worst of all, continual fear and danger of violent death; and the life of people, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short. ( Leviathan, Thomas Hobbes ).
This ties into the subconcional aspects of the human behavior. The human ego, as we know it, leads us to mistrust individuals in our daily lives. For example, in a society with no laws whatsoever, the innate barbaric instincts will eventually overcome feeble individuals. It is logical that the strong overcomes the weak for survival.
Everything we do, wether it is philanthropical or not, serves the human subconcinanal ego, leading us to be in a continuous state of perpetual war. When a person donates a significant amount of money to a humanitarian organization, this person is regarded as being generous. If we analyze this behavior from a different perspective, it is assumable that this donation symbolizes the person's supremacy towards other individuals.
