             When Schwarzenegger first announced that he would be a candidate for the race of governor of California, his campaign was marked by two qualities shared by the actor himself: sunny optimism and bravado. The Schwarzenegger camp is being brave but fears that because there are two republicans, himself and Mcclintock and one democrat that Bustamante might win. .
             Governor Davis, he is said to be hated by the public. The public doesn't want him anymore because of one question, which is why does Davis not claim any mistakes? He wont take any of the blame. One problem was the energy crisis, he blamed it on the power companies. Another was the collapse of the dot coms, he blamed this on the national economy. Finally the increase in the state vehicle tax, this was blamed on his republican predecessor. The real answer is Davis doesn't make friends.
             The election is confusing because it is really two elections. The first question is whether they want to recall Davis as governor. The second is who will be selected out of 135 names. It is going to be a good election, anything can come true.
