Old Yeller Vs Wizard Of Oz

Hey man what is going on, I heard you were looking into watching a movie. Those two that were recommended are superb. Wizard of Oz is old fashioned classic adventure of a girl searching for her place in life and Old Yeller is a blooded adventure movie, of a boy and his dog. They are both great movies that should keep you in the edge of your seat throughout the night.
I was a child when I first watched Wizard of Oz and I simply did not notice weather it was in color or not. The movie itself was such an overwhelming mystery that if they wanted to be in black and white, so be it, no one was complaining. . It was not until I saw The Wizard of Oz for the second time that I consciously noticed black and white versus color, as a young girl Dorothy is blown out of Kansas and into a wonderland of Oz. What did I think? It made good sense to me. Pay special attention to all of the details, I think, because The Wizard of Oz fills such a large space in our imagination. It somehow seems real and important in a way most movies don't. Is that because most people saw it when they we're young? Or simply because it is a wonderful movie? Or because it has hints of some buried universal message? This makes Wizard of Oz a classic for the ages. The Wizard of Oz has a wonderful mix of comedy and music, special effects and excitement, but us being humans and still watching it six decades later because its underlying story penetrates straight to the deepest insecurities of childhood, stirs them and then reassures them. As adults, we love it because it reminds us of our journeys we have taken. That is why any adult can appreciate and suggest a viewing of The Wizard of Oz.
Old Yeller, like Wizard of Oz, has become more than just a movie; it has become a part of our culture. If you were to walk around asking random people, you would be hard-pressed to find someone who did not know the story of Old Yeller, someone who didn't enjoy it or someone who didn't cry.
