Opening Lines

Hello America! Streaming to you live from UT Austin, My name is Alykhan Khaki and I will be your guide on the journey to find the best pick up line of all time .Dave asked me to do this segment because of Dave's complete lack of success picking up the gorgeous women appearing on his show night after night. When he needed help finding a mistress, he knew exactly who to call. In order to successfully find the best pick up line we must first understand the different stages of the pick up. Looking across a room at a party we first must determine who we want to pick up. We must assess the availability of a person (i.e. wedding ring? Arms around someone? With many people?) to see if we can go talk to them. Then we assess if the person is qualified to determine if we are interested in talking to them. Now comes the fun part we find an opening line to initiate conversation which helps leading into finding an integrative topic to talk about. During this process we want to present a "come-on" self by being confident. Finally we need to close the sale and schedule a second encounter to keep the relationship going. Lets get a better understanding of the first few stages of pick ups and then well take a look some horny college students trying to get lucky at the nations most sexually active university. .
When looking around to find a potential person to pick up the first question we ask ourselves about each one: Are they qualified? Qualifiers are things that distinguish people from everyone else. There are two types of qualifiers, extraordinary qualifiers and esoteric qualifiers. Extraordinary qualifiers are things that most people do not have but everyone would like to have or something that society sees as outstanding. Let's look at this clip of me talking to Susan after trying to pick up Chris Mimms who was a past UT basketball player and now a pro basketball player.
Me: So what made you want to talk to Chris?.
