Argument Research Paper

Hack, explains how Yale ironically publishes, and furthermore speaks out about their prestigious school and organizations that carry "moral meaning". Hack implies that at times she feels pressured to live in dorms, where she preferably would like to live at home. .
In Hack articles she states, "If you live in the dorms, you"re expected to part of the crowd, to accept these standards as the framework for you life (pg 93)". I believe this is an important idea, by this being said she further supports her claim by describing a Daily Issue of Yale's News. These issues are for students to keep them up to date on school activities and functions. But in one issue, Hack states that they talked about sexile. It stated that some students should be banished from their dorms, if all Yale Students are not having as much fund as their other roommate. Further she adds, Hack attended the Yale orientation for new students. She recalls entering the Bingham Hall, and describes particular sings on the camps wall that informed students to where to get condoms to have practice safe sex and information on 100 ways to have a love relationship with out having sex. On the other hand, this further frustrates Hack because she practices Judaism. She considers this as a hardship for her to maintain her moral standards. She states " We cannot in good conscience, live in a place where women are permitted to stay overnight in men's rooms (pg 94)". Hacks main argument seems to be the rules that Yale has implemented on their freshman and sophomore class requiring them to live on campus in college dormitories. .
In Hacks quote where she states, "If you live in the dorms, you"re expected to part of the crowd, to accept these standards as the framework for you life (pg 93)". I understand Hacks, point of view and the basis of her religious morals and beliefs. But I do not believe Yale should have special considerations for students who are Judaism.
