Pro Marijuana

WELL I HATE TO TELL YOU THIS BUT MOST OF THESE ARE FALSE MYTHS. In a paper written by Lynn Zimmer, an Associate Professor of Sociology at Queens College and John P. Morgan, a Professor of Pharmacology at the City University of New York Medical School have identified a couple of key facts supporting my statement. Some of these facts are that over time marijuana has stayed the same or even done the opposite when hard drugs have increased or decreased, a 1988 study shows marijuana users showed an increase in awareness of white blood cells which directly fight germs and are the main source of your immune system, researchers have found no difference in the IQ of those who were born to mothers who used marijuana while pregnant and of those who did not, a lab tested the use of marijuana and the effect of brain damage among rodents and monkeys, they had to be given two-hundred times the amount of marijuana that a heavy user of marijuana uses to cause brain damage, in 1993 a study shows that among Americans twelve years old and above, 34% of them had tried marijuana in their life but only 9% of them had used it in the past year, 4.3% of that used it within the past month and 2.8% in the past week, in studies it has been shown that among High School students there was no difference in GPAs of users and non-users of marijuana, In a study sponsored by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration it was shown that out of 2000 accidents considered that only 6.7% were positive for marijuana and of that more than two-thirds were positive for alcohol also.
Now that we have found at the truth about the negatives, let's take a look at the positives of marijuana. The positive elements of marijuana can be broken down into different categories such as economical, governmental, and medical reasons. .
Economical purposes for legalizing marijuana consist of taxes and funding. Recorded in "Liberty for All" an online magazine, our government, each year, wastes twenty billion dollars on the "war against drugs", but it does not seem to do any good.
