When we talk about news, the first thing that usually comes into mind is the newspaper. Newspapers have become an important role in our lives, why? Imagine what it would be like not being able to read the newspapers for only just a week. I know for certain, most people would be feeling the lack of something that they can't explain. What is it that we feel the lack of? It is the news. Reading the newspapers has already become a habitual activity, as we do it daily, and the news that the newspapers contain have also become like a drug to us. Now, you"re thinking, why is news so important? Without news, how do we satisfy our human curiousity? As humans, we were born curious and one of the ways to satisfy that need is through finding out as much news as possible. With news, we collect more and more information, it also keeps us updated about our surroundings and the happenings in other countries as well as warning us about what is to happen. It would be equivalent to living in the dark ages if we do not gain knowledge through news as often as possible because in today's fast-paced world it is very easy to be left behind without sufficient news. Now, it shows that without news, we would find trouble adapting to society and trouble satisfying our curiousity. This means that gossip and news are linked because they are both something we cannot do without through our lives. Besides that, when we share gossips, it's just like sharing of news, only thing with gossip it's news that has a positive and negative effect.
Now, many people perceive gossip in different ways. When the word gossip comes to mind, we know that it's some rather juicy information in which although we try not to intrude we tend to have a desperate curiousity as to what the gossip is. Gossip has its pros and cons, even though most of us would think that it carries more negativity than positive affects. Why? Because usually, we tend to just love talking bad about other people and the good sides about a certain person, we would less speak about or only speak about when we are deeply inspired by their character.
