My Kinsman Major Molinuex

My Kinsman Major Molinuex starts off with a young sheltered boy by the name of Robin going on a journey to the city, but more so by force rather than by will. He is searching for his kinsman, the Major. While looking for his kinsman he assumes that his kinsman would live in a good part of town and be well known, respected, and admired. He finds that some of the nicer places he visits are perhaps less than cordial, a symbol that wealth and prestige are not indicators of truth and honor. In his search also he encounters many different people than what he is used to in the country, the people are rude and uncooperative. City life is much different than the country lifestyle, and our young friend soon learns this and much more of lives little lessons. This is a story about life and how it is always changing and is unpredictable. No one can tell what kind of life they will live or have.
             .
Young Robin goes through many changes in our story, many of which most young adults go through everyday, certain live altering events that make us who we are today. He is not used to the rudeness of the city, when Robin comes in contact with someone for the first time that man is gruff and unhelpful. Even though Robin asked the whereabouts of his kinsman in a polite way, " Good evening to you honored sir I pray you tell me whereabouts is the dwelling of my kinsman-(31) Later on in the story Robin encounters this man again and has gone through some changes, he is now more confident, "No, no, neighbor! No, no, I am no the fool you take me for, nor do you pass till I have the answer to my question." (40) The man then backs down and tells Robin and answer to his question. This shows the transformation from a boy to a man, and that experience breeds change.
Young Robin goes through something that every young adult must go through. A time when you realize you cant depend on you family your whole life.
