That just leads one to wonder, is there such a thing as freedom in America?.
The owner or owners of gayety.net do not seem to think so. The following is an excerpt from the opening page on gayety.net: .
.Freedom of Speech, I'm still conflicted. What is FoS if not absolute? The more things excluded from that which is protected, only serve to devalue the whole.
That said, the idea of allowing deliberate inciting of violence doesn't seem like something worth protecting, no matter against who it is directed.
With that said, many others felt the need to exercise their first amendment to the fullest extent with comments like," .We need more hate to show the world that white is the only way. black people are trying to take over the united states". What kind of ignorant jibberish is that? How can someone just hate another human being so much so, that they would want to kill them-just because of who they believe in or what color they are? Why?!.
Why does someone being a Jew affect you so much? Better yet, how does someone being a Jew affect your everyday life so much so that you feel you have to kill them? Just because someone has different beliefs or a different skin color than you, does not give anyone the right to inflict violence upon another human being.
To this day, many white supremicists believe that blacks and Jews are the leading cause for the downfall of America, and they"re not afraid to let it be known. In 1999 Anti-Semitism harassment on the internet was felt all throughout America. In California, an Anti-Semitic message read, "suck it you Jewish mother f#@-$g faggot from hell.Hail Hitler!!! Nazis forever!!!".
In Florida, a Jewish woman who was in a chat room, was told by another internet user, "you belong in a gas chamber" and "your people are the product of Satan having sex with Eve". And in Louisiana, and email addressed to "motherf----in" Jewish Niggers" read that "the day will come (and trust me, it will be sooner that you think) when we will kill each and every one of you bitches for causing the downfall of America".
