Cuban Disobedience

Suppose a person had a child that he or she loved so dearly that they would knowingly sacrifice their own life for the benefit of their child to escape a torturous, oppressive regime. Suppose that once that child had reached his or her intended destination they would be forcibly taken back to the same hell in which they came from only that now they would live with the reality that their parent is no longer with them and that their parent's mission was a failure. The event of the Elian Gonzalez saga was one of these types of missions. The act of civil disobedience by the Miami relatives was a just action.
Several parameters must not be broken in order for an action of civil disobedience to be considered just. Violence is never an option for expression of civil disobedience, because if one has become violent during the expression, then it would be considered an immoral criminal act. Therefore, if the public views any civil disobedience as a criminal offense then it did not serve its purpose of motivating the masses to perform a change. .
Any form of unjustifiable civil disobedience would be the action of any terrorist activity. These terrorist activities could be further described as being any act with the intent to harm the safety of others or the safety of public or private developments such as: parks, buildings, dams, etc. As once expressed by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the 1960's civil rights movement era, the cause of the civil disobedience has to bring about a prosperous honorable action (King 18). If the action is not proven moral by the public view, then it is rightfully considered an unjust action. .
In order to perform a just action of public civil disobedience one must first try to attain a permit for his or her action. If the respective permit is not granted, only then may the person or group performing the moral action proceed with their strategy. .
During a public action of civil disobedience such as protest, one must be sure to always announce the reason and purpose behind his or her disobedience.
