The definition of an Adult is having arrived at maturity. Adults play a pivotal role in the lives of their children. The child will learn most of his or her traits and characteristics from their parents. Everything from attitude to manners are taught consciously or not by parents to their children. Not only do Adults have many responsibilities with their children but also have a considerable amount of accountability in their social life, for example, occupation, personal relationships and friendships. Some characteristics that adults need to succeed in everyday life are kindness, honesty, integrity, dedication, stamina, persistence, and flexibility.
Honesty is the quality of being truthful, fair and straightforwardness of conduct, and speech. Honesty is important because honesty is the essential basis of all our dealings, whether it is with friends, relatives, co-workers, or family. Once Honesty is lost it may be hard to gain again with the people who are important in life. Honesty is among the most important ethical principles. The ability to tell the truth is very important for all people. Honesty and integrity go hand-in-hand with each other. Integrity is moral soundness and freedom from corrupting influence or motive.
