             OVER THE COURSE OF TIME THERE HAVE BEEN ADVANCES IN THE METHODS USED TO DETERMINE HOW A PERSON LEARNS AND UTILIZES IMFORMATION. VARIOUS STUDIES HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED, AND YEARS OF RESEARCH DEVOTED TO ACCURATELY MEASURING A PERSON"S INTELLIGENCE, LEARNING STYLES, AS WELL AS THE STRATEGIES TAKEN TO SUCCESSFULLY RETAIN KNOWLEDGE. THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT THEORIES PRODUCED THAT GIVE SUGGESTIONS ON UNDERSTANDING HOW PEOPLE PROCESS THE INFORMATION THEY COME ACROSS. FOR EXAMPLE, HOWARD GARDNER, A PSYCHOLOGIST AT HARVARD UNIVERSITY, SUGGESTED THAT TRADITIONAL WAYS OF DEFINING AND MEASURING INTELLIGENCE WERE LIMITED, AND CERTAIN ASPECTS OF INTELLIGENCE WERE NOT ACCOUNTED FOR. USING A SERIES OF TEST GIVEN OVER SEVERAL WEEKS I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ACTUALLY EVALUATE MYSELF. THROUGHOUT THIS PAPER I WILL FURTHER EXPLAIN THE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES I HAVE DISCOVERED, AND THE LEARING STRATEGIES THAT CAN BE USED TO HELP BETTER ACCOMPLISH THE OBJECTIVE ENCOUNTERED.
             THE PROCESS OF GAINING DATA BEGAN WITH EXPLORING THE POSSIBLE MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES THAT APPLIED TO MYSELF. AFTER CAREFULLY STUDYING THE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE EIGHT INTELLIGENCES THE CHOICES BECAME VERY OBVIOUS. MY STRONGEST INTELLIGENCES WERE INTERPERSONAL, WITH LOGICAL-MATHEMATICAL BEING THE WEAKEST. I FOUND THAT I AM A PERSON WHO HAS THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND OTHER PEOPLE. TO KNOW WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE THINKING, AND DEVELOP WAYS TO ASSIST THEM WITH THE MAJORITY OF THEIR PROBLEMS. FOR, EXAMPLE AIDING MY FRIENDS WITH THEIR COUNTLESS ISSUES HAS NEVER BEEN A CHALLENGE, AND IN MOST CASES I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GIVE VALUABLE ADVICE AND SUPPORT. ON THE OTHER HAND, I HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN THE PAST WORKING EASILY WITH NUMBERS AND SYMBOLS. THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SOME FACET OF THE IDEA THAT JUST THROWS ME OFF. FOR INSTANCE, I HAVE TAKEN NUMEROUS MATH CLASSES, AND NEVER EXCELLED IN THEM AS MUCH AS OTHER SUBJECTS. EVENTUALLY, I DO COMPREHEND WHAT IS BEING TAUGHT, BUT IT IS NOT IN A QUICK MANNER.
