Should factory farms be allowed?

In this essay, I will talk about if factory farms should be allowed. A factory farm is where large amount of life stock are kept in a small area. The animals are so closely packed; some of them can’t turn around or lay down. The animals are fed by machines and sell the life stocks when they are full grown.

There are many reasons why shouldn’t factory farms be allowed. Firstly, it’s about animal cruelty. The hygienic conditions in factory farms are very, very bad. The faeces that animals in factory farms have produced are kept at the area where the animals live. This causes serious hygienic problems. The faeces produced by the animals will become a breading site for bacteria’s and viruses. And if one of the animals is infected with this disease, it will spread the disease to other animals nearby and will cause the whole factory farm to be infected with the disease. That’s what exactly that happened in Hong Kong recently. The bird flu broke out and we had to stop eating chicken for a few months. You don’t want to stop eating chicken fo

In conclusion, I think factory farms should be banned because it is cruel to the animals; it pollutes the wildlife and it causes deadly diseases to spread. But, it is some times necessary for the supply of meat for the people because it’s cheap efficient and takes less space than family farms.

For my opinion, I think factory farms should be banned, because of the animal cruelty and the pollution it causes to the wildlife. I think people should have more or bigger family farms so that it can supply enough meat products for the people but still have enough space for the animals to move around. And they should stop giving the animals antibiotics because it will only generate even more deadly germs.

Because of the factory farms, lots of family farms have been put out of business. The family farms didn’t have enough money to compete with the factory farms so the factory farms take over the family farm and turn it into a factory farm. The traditional family farms labour intensive, that means they produce a bit less, but very high quality of produ
