Then you must pass an examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Another type of a Nutritionist is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) which requires a bachelor's degree or advanced medical degree and is issued by the Clinical Nutrition Certification Board. The Working Conditions for a Nutritionist are different depending on where they hired. Mostly, nutritionists work in hospitals. Some work in nursing homes special weight loss clinics. Even some open their own business and run camps of their own to help people lose weight. Most work 40-hour weeks but some on the weekends. Some are part time and have other jobs in different or related fields. They are on their feet most of day and are usually consulting with clients or on the phone with them. they usually work with overweight or obese people, but sometimes to people who just want to eat better. In general, about 40% of those who are overweight or obese go to a nutritionist to lose weight and the nutritionist spend their time to teach the person on healthy eating or them to just turn around and not use any of the techniques or principals they have been taught. It can be and very rewarding job and at the same time a very stressful job. The working conditions for a personal trainer are usually the same except for the location and time of the year. The trainer usually makes appointments by the clients schedule which can be as early as 5:00am and as late as 7:00pm. They can more than 40 hours a week, or as much as 60 hours a week. Also usually have to pay for their own equipment if they open their own business and have to hire more trainers depending on the business.
