American history is the act of genocide based on something that

cannot be proved or charged. In the 1860's there was the Salem

Witch Trials in which people were accused of being witches and

executed for it. Now this was something that could not be proved

making it one persons word against another, which basicly makes it

genocide. And then in the 1950's there was the Red Scare which once

again persecuted someone for something that was not illegal,

believeing in communism. Although noone was executed since it was

not illegal many people were banned from work because of the

accuazation that they were Communists. Although "The Crucible"

and the "The Front" had the same basic message in mind when they

were written they were based in different times so they had very

"The Crucible" by Authur Miller was about the original witch

hunt. It told the story of the Salem Witch Trials from the point of view

of several main characters, who were actual people who were alive

during this devistating time. These characters included John Proctor

works are so alike is because they were both about a time when many

the outcomes was that in Salem you were hung and in the Red Scare

people's lives were ended or damaged due to the fact that they were
