As I open my laptop for a new day of a higher education, I find myself contemplating why am I here and what is it I expect to achieve from my efforts at the University of Hayward. As I reflect, I see myself traveling back over the years of missed opportunities and life experiences that brought me here. They bring me through a time which is full of twists and turns and where the color of the leaves on the trees turn rapidly, but the grass on each hillside turn always has a bit of green in it.
