Years ago Abraham Maslow said that people are constantly striving for self-actualization. He believed that people are willing to give up other needs to make one area of their life stronger. In a way I can see myself giving up homework and other important just so I will be able to see my friends. I feel that everyone needs to be happy and nothing makes me happier then being with my friends. I also agree with the sociocultural theory. The sociocultural theory suggests that people that live in different cultures will do things and feel things differently. I can see this in myself because I grew up eating a large amount of wild game, whereas my friends grew up not eating things of that nature; therefore our tastes our different.
