“The Dancing Class” includes a focal point, being the elderly dance teacher. This mainly became the focal point as it is in the middle of the painting and not in the fore ground or background. It also has different colouring and shape to the many dancers, which makes it stand out even more. The painting also consists predominately of a monochromatic colour scheme using Yellow, Green and Blue. It also includes shades and tints, plus a small amount of red for one part of the painting.
