Reaching Out to America's Future

America's future lies in the hands of every American citizen. Whether you are a farmer in Kansas or a businessperson in New York, it is not only a virtue but also a duty to help your country in any way you can. Perhaps the most important way somebody can help America is by reaching out to America's future. We should help it by trying to keep America as free as our forefathers intended it to be. This is because America without its freedoms would make our country no better than any other country. Throughout America's history Americans have fought and died to get, and to protect our freedoms so the least we can do is try to maintain them. There are many peaceful ways we can go about achieving this, such as joining groups and organizations that try to preserve certain rights. Yet, sometimes, even the United States of America needs to defend those freedoms that make it such a great nation.

Thus logically, one of the best ways to help reach out to America's future would be to keep it free. Fortunately, there are a variety of ways to do so. One way that Americans can try to keep America free is to find out some of the bills in congress that give or take away freedoms. Following this they could tell their congressperson to vote on the bill in a way that would give Americans the most freedom. Another way Americans could keep America free for the future, is to join groups and organizations, which are designed to preserve America's freedoms. Perhaps one of the most practical ways Americans can try to preserve their freedoms for future generations is by researching politicians and then voting for the ones that are more likely to try to make America as free as possible. In the case of someone finding something to be unconstitutional, and violate American's liberties, that person should organize a protest of it. Just as Patrick Henry stated, "Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined."

America's security, thus our freedoms, are constantly under threat of attack by terrorists and foreign governm
