Baby With The Bathwater

The play Baby with the Bathwater was worth doing in some ways. It showed the harsh realities of being a parent and how it is so important to be a good parent. It taught a good moral lesson but also had comic relief. The actors did a good job at presenting the play and portraying their characters. In the one scene when Daisy is revealed as actually being a boy changes the whole play and that's when the lesson begins to unravel. The play also shows the lesson of good parenting when Daisy just lies on the floor and doesn't speak. It shows that children do as their parents do. Parents are the number one influence in a child's life and they are molded by their experiences as a kid. Daisy's life was totally off track because his parents treated him the wrong way and weren't "good parents." He went through his life thinking he was a girl, wearing dresses, having sex with every girl he met and not being able to finish anything. .
Daisy then figured out his life and was able to settle down with one girl and have a child. This shows that even though your parents may have a big influence on you, you can still overcome them and be what you want to be. You just need to start over and forget about whatever influence they had on you. Like in Daisy's case, he just stopped talking to his parents so he could move on. So this play was worth it, it showed the audience how to be good parents and what effect it has on the children. The play would have been a little more worthwhile if it was more interesting and easier to follow. Most of the audience was bored throughout the whole play. On the most part thought the play had a very good lesson and is worthwhile in the end.
