Hawian Adventure

The most memorable place that I have ever been to would have to be my trip to Hawaii. I went they"re originally for a bowling tournament but I actually went there because it was Hawaii, I didn't really care for the tournament and I have never been to Hawaii before. While I was there I did a whole bunch of cool things like renting scooters, kayaking, swimming in the warm water at Sandy Beach, at not to mention bowling well in my tournament.
I went to Waikiki, which is located on the island of Oahu the summer of 2000. I was sixteen years of age and just got my driver's license. Unlike my friends, I was on the island for the first time. For the first day there, our primary goal was to rent scooters and go on an adventure. However, I was not old enough to rent one. The rule was that you had to be eighteen or older to rent a scooter. Luckily two of my friends were eighteen and they rented one for me. The scooter that I picked out was red and it reminded me of a bright red Ferrari that had just been waxed. Since I have never ridden a scooter before, I was surprised at the fact that it was really easy to learn how to ride. It didn't go to fast, but it went fast enough to drive on the road. We rode those scooters all day. .
Our second goal was to get to the North Shore, which was on the opposite side of the Island. Trying to get there, we went around the coast of the Island. The sights that I saw were absolutely amazing. Anything from the massive mountains, glistening white sand, or the ocean water which was bright baby blue matching the color of the beautiful clear sky. I have never seen ocean water where it is so clear you can see the intriguing ocean floor. After riding all day, we weren't able to reach the North Shore due to sunlight. So my four friends and I decided to race back to the hotel instead. After arriving to the hotel, we ate dinner and decided to cruise around the city.
