The best teacher is one who has enthusiasm about what he or she is teaching. This enthusiasm should rub off onto the students, making them feel excited about learning. A good teacher should be prepared every day in class in all aspects, so that he or she is in control of the entire classroom at all times. This is an impossible task, but is one for which one should strive. A teacher of excellence should have concern and truly care about the well being of all his students emotionally, physically and mentally. It is important for students to be able to feel that they are safe physically and emotionally in the class room. An effective teacher would make the students aware of the rules of the classroom in order to make the classroom a haven for the children and a comfortable place to learn.
I would try every day to bring a zest of life into my classroom. My emotions, posture, and my general attitude towards life will be a model for what the student's attitude should be. So I will always try to put my best foot forward because the students will be observing me and will easily detect my attitude for that day, my love of my job, my love for the subject and my deep caring for them, the students. .
It is important to strive to be prepared in the class in all aspects from content of the subject to that day's lesson plan and that is what I plan to do. I think it is important for me to attend workshops so I can constantly be improving in my field and learn new ways to teach in order to be better prepared to be an effective teacher. I will devise lesson plans that are both fun and challenging to the students, keeping in mind the particular grade that I am teaching and the mental capabilities of its students. .
I truly care about children. That is why I decided to be a teacher. I want to see them grow into responsible, well educated adults that contribute to society. I will make it completely evident to the students that I care about their success.
