Animals in Entertainment

Most people would agree that watching animals do tricks and perform for their own entertainment is all in fun and games. One thing people may not know about this so-called "animal entertainment" is that the animals may not always feel the same way. Animals were not meant to perform tricks for humans or anyone for that matter. Animals are part of a unique species that are not supposed to be taken out of their environment for our enjoyment unless it is for a good reason such as treating them with medical help if they were hurt. House pets are an exception for being taken out of their environment because they never grew up in an actual nature environment to begin with, except the human environment. Animals are not meant to perform for enjoyment because when they are they become affected physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Physically animals in entertainment have practically no chance to defend themselves. These animals have gotten so used to humans and doing tricks that they feel no need to inflict pain on others. With no defense owners and trainers, recognize this, so when a certain animal does not perform to the trainer's expectations they are unfortunately harmed in a physical way. Not only do animals get physically abused for a poor performance many animals get abused when trainers take their anger out on them that had nothing to do with them such as maybe a relationship breakup dealing with the trainer.
Emotionally animals are affected tremendously by what goes on in animal entertainment. Animals learn to become very happy and excited when they see children because the children love to pet and stroke them. Animals also learn to become happy when they see food because they know that when they do a trick or perform well they are rewarded with a treat. Even with all the happiness and excitement that they encounter all the animal's feelings are destroyed and erased when they receive physical beatings from their trainers.
