“Evil is real, and it must be opposed” was a statement made by President George W. Bush in his State of the Union Address in January of 2002, President Bush went on to name several countries that support and house terrorist organizations calling them an "axis of evil”, such as: Iraq, Iran, and North Korea. The groups that operate out of these countries cause fear and terror in many parts of the world.

Terrorism, which has been around for as long as people can remember, has been on the rise for the past ten years. Terrorists use murder, kidnapping, hijacking, and bombings to achieve their purpose. Terrorism is all over the world, in every way, shape and form. Most generally the motive of terrorists and their organizations is political, religious, or ideological in nature. Within the last decade, the effects of terrorism have come to the United States. Every terrorist has a motive even the ones who can be proven as clinically insane have a motive at the root of their actions.
