Walt shows that as he grows older he grows into a wiser person because at the start of the movie people could put Walt into the class of a bully as he is very racist to everyone and he has a go at Father J you can tell he hates the Asians. ... But by the end of the movie Walt has grown into today's society and become wiser because as the film goes on he more or less accepts Thao and Soo like family and also because he goes to confession as Father J wanted and becomes less racist than when he first met the Hmong next door to him. ... So as you can tell Walt sees life in a black and white ...
