Huck Finn Learning Experiences

 

            
             The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn tells the story of a young boy who faces the issues of growing up and developing one's own opinion of the world. Throughout the story Huck attempts to explain the world to him and argued with himself over right and wrong. Huck goes through many hard and difficult times in which he has to make some complicated decisions and the struggles of coming to those decisions and living with them. Huck Finn goes through some changes and valuable lessons throughout his journey that made him change from an immature boy to being a more mature person who looks at thing in a different point of view.
             In the beginning of the novel, Huck is wild and carefree, playing jokes and tricks on people and believing them all to be very funny. Moreover Huck is under the care of Widow Douglas. "She took me for her son, and allowed she would sivilize me; but it was rough living in the house all the time; and so when I couldn't stand it no longer, I let out (9). This statement shows that Huck is used to being free and finds Widow Douglas's protection unacceptable. Huck feels that he belongs out under the stars and in nature. They get down on a thing when they don't know nothing about it (10). This shows the ignorance that all children experience throughout life. He thinks as if everything he does is right and everyone else is wrong.
             intends was to steal money from Huck. Then Huck is forced to decide whether to stay with his father and continue to be abuse or leave. Huck decided to leave and fake out his own dead. Then after escaping from all, Huck begins his journey for freedom and experience. Huck has a natural intelligence that helps him along his journey.
             Huck leaning adventures takes place on the Mississippi River. Huck finds freedom on the river and it is there that he learned to choose between what is right and what is wrong, and the moral decisions of helping a runaway slave.
