The film, "Forrest Gump," touched the hearts of many. It's a movie about hope, love, and faith. "Hope" because unlike many of us, Forrest's mother, Mrs. Gump never lost hope that someday, his son would make her the proudest mother of all and he did. "Love" because like each and every one of us, Forrest experienced how good it feels to love someone. He fell in love with his childhood friend, Jenny Curran. Even if things did not come out the way he expects them to in the beginning, they still ended up together for Forrest is a good man, and he deserves to be given love in return. And "Faith" because unlike many of us, Forrest never lost faith in himself, and in God. He continued believing in himself, caring for the people he loves, and having faith that God would never desert him, and would continue looking after him wherever he may be. .

This movie teaches us a lot of things. Mrs. Gump never made Forrest feel how unintelligent he really is. Instead, she continued believing in him, and persistently motivated him to do his best in everything. She molded Forrest into a kind, loving, honest individual. As future leaders and molders of the next generations of youth, this film teaches us that a child's beliefs and future significantly depend on how parents mold their children. Parents are responsible for casting a child's character, as well as his principles and conviction towards life. We should never underestimate the very important role of good parenting, and the huge responsibility it brings. We should always put into mind that every little thing that we do would, in one way or another, affect another individual. For that reason, we should always take into consideration the consequences of our actions, and be ready to face the joys and pains life brings. .
