Now when machineries and technologies are described, first thing that comes to mind is engineers and engineering and how much they are involved in today's evolving world. Engineering is based on designing different projects. Nowadays, "most products and systems are becoming more complex in nature, and there is an increasing demand relative to new technology applications at a time when our natural resources are dwindling" now that's where engineering jumps in. Businesses depending on natural resources are no longer in a safe position. They are looking for a new technology to keep their profit margin as it was when the world had enough natural resources for those businesses. Most of the productions are becoming very competitive and because of these competitions new technologies are coming in rapidly and its spreading over commerce like water on a smooth floor. .
Engineering and engineers are not only useful for the technologies and machineries in the business world, but it is also constructive in different components of business such as management, financing, employment, and marketing. A person might think, "How is engineering involved with management?" Since, it is obvious that engineering requires planning skills. And in order to make a big plan it is necessary to manage the plan. "Management is basically a function of getting things done through others and deals primarily with aspects such as planning, organization, directing, controlling" and engineering management is simply based on all these management aspects. It is true that engineers and managers are almost related with each others because "both engineers and managers are trained to decision makers in a complex environment." Management is simply managing different tasks to make them easier to understand and access, which is exactly what an engineer needs while working on a project.
