Government Website Analysis

Once again, I found myself focusing on exploring all the information this website could gratify me with. This site includes earth, ocean, biology, health, medicine, physics, chemistry, environment, agriculture science, and the list goes on. This site dominates itself with distinguished headliners. This is informing the reader where and what to look for to find the data, he or she is looking for. Once you click on a certain headliner, it will take you to a world of intense structure. Starting with vivid images, to outlines, to graphs, to spatial sequencing, to chronological sequence, to problem-solution sequence, to cause and effect sequence, to paragraphs clarifying the unity of topics, directions, overview of process and at the end providing the reader with the conclusion. To sum up all this website has to offer this is the initial headline directly on Science.gov. Science.gov has over 2100 selected websites and 55 databases. This includes 13 federal agencies that offer over 200 million pages of US government science data, includes but not limited to development and research results. .

After comparing all three of the government web sites, I realized they were very similar in structure and nature. The most common structure with all these sites was the headlines. I could detect in matter of seconds, what and where, I needed to go to obtain information. On the sites, topic information headliners were everywhere. One click on the topic, and there you were. There were no advertisements for businesses or to non- related government sites. All of the sites had an Espanola tab to click on at top of page and a search bar as well. I believe the United States has become aware of the Hispanic population, and thus ensuring that they too will have the knowledge needed if they find themselves on the governments website? I do not feel any of the sites I mentioned have failed to provide feedback or could have changed any strategies to make it more efficient.
